Elizabeth Edwards

Elizabeth Edwards is a young Economic Development professional, with roughly five years of experience. Starting her career with the Municipality of Port Hope, she managed projects such as the Downtown Commercial CIP, the Digital Main Street program, and played an integral role in the Economic Development Strategy. She was the key point of contact for Filming and managed the Film Permit Process. She was successfully awarded over $1Million in Government funding for Port Hope including the Canada Community Revitalization Fund, Eastern Ontario Development Fund, Rural Economic Development Fund and more.

Elizabeth is now employed with the City of Quinte West, actively working on projects such as the Downtown Commercial CIP, the Industrial Lands Costing Review and Strategy, as well as delivering Career Fairs to the communities of Quinte West and Belleville such as the one that was hosted on September 13. She is actively pursuing her Economic Developer’s certification. She is looking forward to connecting with other Economic Developer’s across Eastern Ontario.
